I have not managed to get this working at all on my Windows 7 (Professional) network with some wireless machines. The machines can see each other but Net Send doesn\'t seem to see them all and when a message is sent to one it does see it only returns a message that the message format is unsupported. I am really unimpressed!!

Service seems to be really good, it's instructing all other users to download the product and set thier administrative rights on the messenger side. Other than that I can send messages to myself lickety-split.

Send Messages to Other Computers Good little program that allows you to send messages to other computers on your network. Simple but effective.

Net send lite. The Net Send Lite works really great, I have to make some changes on firewall sp2. I just put the services Messenger on automatic and now it work.

Seems OK - not like the most recent Microsoft one but seems to be just as good and more comprehensive when you spend time setting it up

Thought it was great. I was experimenting and used up all my \"free\" notes. So... NOT SO GREAT.

I have ony used authorPOINT Lite a few times so far but it seems to do exactly what I need simply and is easy to use.

I tried the software, and it works great. But unluckily, it cannot recognaise the turkish character letters, and i couldn\'t use the result for my presentation. If you don\'t have to use local characters, you\'ll be satisfied with the software.

Hi,it\'s a really nice tool - BUTthe .swf file is pretty big and, above all, it\'s protected so I don\'t know how to increase the file size - and, alas, I\'m too dumb to get it included in my websites...Steph

I was unable to get the program to work standalone. It failed on every file load. From Powerpoint I was able send a file to a remote server for conversion. I saved this as an .swf. I was expecting to be able to save it as a .flv.The powerpoint file had animations. These were poorly converted in the .swf file. I have since removed authorPoint from my computer.

this is a good software, the flash presentations look very well.I though if i had the powerpoint presentation, that once converted in flash, I could add transitions effects; I thought wrong.By definetely is a good application.

Problems with 2007 I liked the software and I used it, but I am using PowerPoint 2007 and my files are saved as pptx. I think I had some compatibility problems. PowerPoint gave me a message that authorPOINT add in is not OK or something like that I cannot remember exactly. That is why I uninstalled it.

I didnt use much as i ws ookin for a s/w wich can help me do sms spoofing for free. Thanks seems to be a good sw for free otherwise.

Net Send I run linux with wine, and I didn't realize that wine doesn't use net messenger. This program won't run on wine, but it's my fault...

In One Word... GREAT!!! Net-Send command turned my frown upside down when I downloaded it. I was pretty bummed that vista had abandoned 'net send' but was more than cheered up to come across this great little program.It does everything that windows net send command did, in an intuitive way (just type send /name of computer /message.The only thing I would change about it would its interface (don't get me wrong, it's great as it is, but I'm just a perfectionist). I would prefer to see it designed in such a way that it just asked you to type in the name ...

It is kind of nice, I like the popups that informs about a hit!

It is extremely helpful for keeping me on track and organized, especially with difficult subject matter that needs to be re-reviewed several times.

My experience This tool is very unique and I have never seen anything like this before. With that said I am decently surprised at it, I mean I think it should be free, but hey thats my opinion.

Why use StudyMinder. This is great program. Being organised and getting from a to b and knowing what you are supposed to be doing is a real challenge for students. With a few clicks you can set term dates, class assignments, track your progress. It will allow you to print your screens. The built in calender will allow for planning specific assignments. It has an easy on the eye look and not a system hog. It did not crash after repeated use. We would definitely recommend StudyMinder. Sarah.

The Student Planner for the Job This is a really helpful piece of time management and planning software for the student. It is easy to understand and use. It meets basic needs without lots of un-necessary bells and whistles. While the Lite version which is free gives you a good feel for the software, it is well worth the modest investment in the full version to get the benifit of the disabled features, which are must haves.

Interface Woes It's a bit cheeky to comment on something that's free but here it goes. The interface is my main gripe. It's a little confusing and I almost uninstalled it straight away as it's not really intuitive enough for me. For the average user, it can be daunting and I found myself rolling my eyes a little (no, it's not the coffee) because of the messing around with lessons and timings etc. A little more thought is needed on the layout I think, otherwise for a freebie, it's not bad. I'd give it about 6/10.
